Now many people love Nars Sheer Glow, myself included, but its not the cheapest foundation on the market. I came across the a brilliant dupe for this foundation after completely running out and having to run to the nearest boots and pick up something to use before I repurchased Sheer Glow. I came out with a multicoloured hand and neck from the swatches, half the stock of boots and a sorry looking bank balance (but a healthy looking points card!)
I ended up buying Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation. I now quite a few other bloggers have compared the Nars Sheer Glow to the Revlon Nearly Naked and the Neutrogena Healthy Foundation but I personally feel
that this is almost exact.
I'm in the shade Mont blanc in Nars and I got Vanillia 02 in the Bourjois foundation. The Nars Sheer Glow is medium coverage with a velvety finish and gives you the 'glow from within' look, the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation is (unfortunately) not exactly the same as Sheer Glow but is very similar, it's slightly more dewy than Nars and it stays tacky all day if you don't lightly powder it. The undertones are slightly different too, Nars Sheer Glow is has pink undertones (although thinking about it i most likely got matched to the wrong colour) in the lighter shades such as mont blanc whereas the Bourjois Healthy Mix is more yellow toned. Both of these foundations do a good job at mimicing your skin and look very natural and glowing with the option of buildable coverage depending on the method of application (I like to use a damp beauty blender) and the amount of layers added. The Nars foundation is £31 and the Bourjois foundation is £10.99, so with a difference of £19.01, you'll be saving yourself quite a bit of money by switching to the dupe!
A x
