FULFILLING MY NARS ADDICTION

Nars has to be one of my top five makeup brands and anytime I spot a Nars counter I just can not help myself, I stop noticing the world around me and become fixated on the lipsticks, eyeshadows and blushers! This time I found myself at the Nars counter in Selfridges, Manchester and I have to say it was a good one! Most of what I bought were replacements of empties that I loved and that I could not cope another day without!

First up is the one and only Laguna bronzer, this is honestly THE best bronzer I have ever used (trust me I've tried a few!) This bronzer suits me when I'm as pale as a china doll in winter and it's still the perfect shade when I've had the real sun bronze me up when I'm abroad! It's easily blendable and natural looking, you can wear it natural on a day to day basis and build it up for special occasions and nights out with the girls!

Another favourite of mine is the Brow Perfector, I use the shade Kalamata. I never used to touch my brows until around a year ago, for some reason I thought that they were dark enough and shaped perfectly...boy was I wrong! Then along came the Brow Perfector  I was buying Sheer Glow at the time and the lady at the counter filled in my brows after testing the foundation (which is fabulous by the way), I loved the way my brows looked and wondered why I'd never done this to them before! Kalamata is also the perfect shade for both my hair and skin tone.
Next up is the famous Nars Creamy Concealer, I use Shade vanilla, this is a little light for my skin tone but I use it under my eyes. I've always found that when I buy light shades of concealer they always look pinky on my skin but this one doesn't and that is fab! The consistency of this is perfect too and blends seamlessly into the skin.
The last product I bought was the new Steven Klein Dead Of Summer eye shadow palette. I bought this after they didn't have Stud and Night Clubbing in stock and the assistant suggested this palette as it has Stud in it. It was the perfect palette for this time of year, theres a gold, bronze, burgundy and a dark grey colour, it also comes with an amazing black eyeliner that lasts and lasts for hours! All the colours in this palette are all very pigmented, they look great together for a burgundy-gold smokey eye or as single colours for a daytime look. I will be posting pictures on Instagram of looks using this palette so look out!
